MIKKEL JERSIN
Mikkel Jersin is an award-winning producer. He has been named one of Europe’s Young Masters by The Hollywood Reporter, and honored by Screen International as a Future Screen Leader.
Mikkel recently co-produced THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD (by Joachim Trier), which was nominated for two Oscars as well as two BAFTAs. Before that, the film won the “Best Actress” award in the Official Competition at Cannes Film Festival 2021. Mikkel has also recently co-produced THE BLUE CAFTAN that won the Fipresci Award for best film in Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2022.
Mikkel was appointed “Producer on The Move” by European Film Promotion during Cannes Film Festival in 2016, and also premiered LOUDER THAN BOMBS (by Joachim Trier) the same year at Cannes Film Festival in the official competition.
In 2015 he produced SPARROWS (by Rúnar Rúnarsson), that won the main award; the Golden Sea Shell (Concha de Oro) at San Sebastian International Film Festival.
Mikkel is one of the founders of Snowglobe and has been involved in more than 40 feature films. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011.
